Catherine Rand, Ph.D.
Clinical Psychologist
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who has been licensed since 1985. I studied English Literature at Harvard University before moving to Cincinnati where I got my Master's and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Cincinnati. I treat adults of all ages, including the elderly. I have expertise in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, addictions, chronic pain, trauma and stress. I take a client- centered approach in my treatment and draw on aspects of humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral treatment modalities. I enjoy helping my patients learn from their life experiences and assisting them to acquire positive coping mechanisms. I provide short and long-term psychotherapy. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being in nature and writing short stories.
